Chlorate formation is a common problem when disinfecting recycled water. Researchers from the RECUPA project investigated and came up with a solution that makes it easier to reuse water within the food industry and other sectors.

Flanders' FOOD is the innovation platform for the Flemish food industry. As a platform, it brings together the industry, the research institutes and the governmental agencies.

The mission of Flanders' FOOD is "to strengthen the competitiveness of the food sector through stimulation of scientific and technological innovation.





VMx vzw is the professional association for all environmental professionals (environmental coordinators, environmental experts, EIA experts, ...). The core tasks of this member association with nearly 900 members are: advocacy, information provision, continuous training and networking.
