Programme AquaFlanders
Are our indoor installations ready for the future?
(in Dutch)
This year, AquaFlanders will hold an information session on best practices for the installation of indoor drinking water systems and the correct use of materials. The common thread throughout this session is the new technical guideline from Buildwise for the distribution of sanitary drinking water and the rollout of the European quality mark for materials in contact with drinking water.
During the information session, producers and suppliers of materials, and designers and installers of indoor installations for drinking water distribution, will receive an update on the regulations, practical information on the transition from the Hydrocheck to a European quality mark, and we will get to work with the new technical guidelines from Buildwise. The importance of inspections for quality assurance will also be addressed.
The information session is aimed at everyone involved in the design, execution, maintenance, and assurance of high-quality water installations and drainage systems. This session thus combines all relevant information for designing and installing high-quality indoor installations for the distribution of drinking water.
The following topics will be covered:
• Risks in drinking water distribution
• In-depth look at the Flemish Drinking Water Decree
• Phasing out of Hydrocheck
• Best practices for indoor installations
• Quality assurance and risk-based approach
